After the Mosque we got into bicycle rickshaws. Every rickshaw carried two people. Even though our group had 11 people, the tour guide, Mr. Singh was with us so it worked out well.
Away we go!
Our driver worked very hard
School kids.
We drove by so many fabric stores. I so wanted to jump out and shop!
that is an amazing amount of whatever that is!
Our rickshaw driver was going to wait for us at the drop off point, and we went for a walk to the spice shops.
Flower sales
Dried fruits and nuts
The wires. these were the safest looking for the overhead wires we saw
another loaded bicycle
Back on our bicycle. All of this wood product is turned out by hand.
Beads and bangles
Fresh Vegetables. Most people get their produce from carts, not a grocery store.
All the wires I am sure are to some kind of code. They made me nervous.
a couple buying wedding invitations
there was an invitation shop with very fancy letters that said Titanic. I am not sure that is a good name for a wedding invitation shop.
now for some of Mark's pictures of the crazy bicycle rickshaw ride!
SO close to everyone else, but we never hit anyone
walking through the spice area
The smells were amazing
Back with our driver
Ladder delivery
a sort of empty street
The spices, the fabric, the wedding cards, and now auto parts. Makes perfect sense
The ride was great! SO much fun, and it was wonderful to see everything. We saw no accidents even with this amount of people, cars, carts, rickshaws, motorcycles, and walkers.
